The Vase Cobalt Net was made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg of hard porcelain employing hand-painted technique only.
The Height - 203 mm.
The shape was taken from the specimen of the XIX century Porcelain collection, located in the Hermitage St.Petersburg.
The drawing was created in the middle of the XVIII century for the Empress Elizabeth by the Russian porcelain founder Dmitry Vinogradov .
Later Anna Jackiewicz has created the decor called Cobalt Net, which has become a kind of "identity card" of Russian Porcelain and acquired fame and popularity throughout the world.
Anna A. Yackewicz. (1904-1952).
She became famous only after her death. Unfortunately, she did not had a chance to celebrate her triumph in Brussels porcelain exhibition.
